Dry recyclables / single stream recycling

Single stream recycling solutions by Seepra Recycling are tailor-made and flexible, achieving a pure end product. A clean Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) accepts dry recyclables that are already separated at the source, either residential or commercial. In such a waste sorting facility, recyclable streams are separated into valuable fractions that can be reused or recycled. Dry recyclable streams vary per country and region, being for example: Paper and cardboard, collected separately at the source. Plastics of various grades and qualities, mixed and collected separately from other types of waste


Mixed packaging waste (such as containers, bottles and paper) collected together, also referred to as single stream. Post pre- shredding the mechanical separation of waste materials by screening is becoming increasingly important for the recovery of the associated valuable commodities. Seepra Recycling supply range of stationary & mobile disc screen to separate one or two fractions as per process requirements. The innovative ECO-STAR® Dynamic Disc Screen centers on the patented anti- clogging system, developed for urban and industrial waste through years of experience and testing. The solution involves the isolation of the machine shafts from the material flow in coordination with the liberation of the material through the faceted disk shape.

The HARDOX disks and robust construction of the machine provide superior wear characteristics and reliability. The material flows on the screen discs and undergoes a sussultory shaking movement that separates the waste. The undercut falls into the part below the screening surface, passing through the spaces among the discs; the work progresses until the end of the screening surface. The result is a selected and clean fraction, ready for recycling treatments
